The Cr3w!

This past Friday, my brother and I were playing Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception on ps3. I received a phone call from my home boy Vince, he called and told us to go run with him at Edison, we said “alright let’s go”.

20 minutes later he stopped by our house and we were still playing Uncharted 3, then we started to get ready to go run.

So we left my house and headed to the track at Edison, my brother and Vince ran 4 laps and I ran 3. Then my brother ran one more and powered walk one lap.

After we finished, we headed back home and i received a phone call from my mom that my godmother was at our house.

She told me that her son wanted to see the PS3, since he was interested in buying the console.

After talking with him, he made up his mind and I sold the PS3 to him for $200 dollars.

That night, around 9pm, we called Miguel, another home boy of ours, he said he couldn’t come to my house unless we picked him up.

So then Vince and I went on a short journey to Miguel’s house to go pick him up, after we got him, we headed back to my house.

We had nothing to do, since normally we would play Skyrim on my PS3, but since I sold it, there was nothing to play.

So we just played guitar, watched t.v and then finally decided to play GameCube, another console that came out years ago.

After we were finished, we slept all together in one room in my brothers room, not gay at all :)

Saturday morning we all woke up, but Vince woke up super early since he had Saturday school.

The other guys and myself stayed home and ate and played some games till it was time for Vince to come back so that they can go cut their hair.

I joined them, since I was going to be bored at home, after they finished cutting their hair, we headed to Panda Express.

We order four bowls, and our entree’s were chow mien, orange chicken, beijing beef and honey walnut shrimp.

When we were half way eating, Miguel and my brother finished eating super fast, then they went to Foodmaxx to pick up some chicken.

When they left, the only ones left were Vince and I, as we were finishing, I received a hugged and i was like what the heck.

I turned my head and saw that it was one of my former buddies from The kNOw Youth Media, what a great day it was to see her. She came in for her shift since she worked at Panda Express.

After we were done, Vince and I head to foodmaxx as well and joined Miguel and my brother, then we headed home.

When we got home, we played GameCube and then that night, we were laughing, telling jokes and then we had a good night sleep.

Next morning, Sunday, Vince was gone again, he went to church to go volunteer while I and the other guys stayed playing GameCube.

Around 11am, Miguel headed home since he needed to go finish some homework, cool people do their homework you know. Makes you smarter :)

Only ones left were my brother and I, till my brother went to his friends house.

I was the only one remaining at home for the meantime till Vince came back 45 minutes later.

Then Vince and I stayed home playing NBA on GameCube for a couple of hours, till i got a text from my brother.

He wanted us to go to Edison to go play basketball, so we did, we jumped the gate at Edison and headed their way.

We played a couple of games and then we head back to my house, a little hours later, I decided to order Pizza from Domino’s to eat some food.

My total came to $15.08, I only order two medium sizes, after that, we watched some Scared Tactics and Storage Wars.

Then Vince had to leave since he couldn’t spend the night over again since he had school and no one was able to give him a ride.

So again, like previous weeks before, this is our crew during the weekends, have so much fun, fool around and hangout basically.

Next week I’m sure it will be a blast :)

A story of Bravery!

Here’s my friends story on Bravery!

I remember a few years ago when a friend of mine was having a hard time in life. She was considering thoughts of suicide and even cut herself to take away all the stress and pain. No one said anything to her or asked her if she needed someone to lean on, but one of my friends, who had actually been her childhood buddy for a long time, stood up among my friends and I and told her to stop hurting herself. It wasn’t her fault that things were going downhill in her life and she should not be causing herself any more pain. That friend was a true friend because out of all of us, she was the one that really showed that she cared and that she couldn’t stand her injuring herself. She was the brave one, who did not think about herself, but she was worried about the safety of our friend.

Saturday Morning!

Today was a great Saturday for my friends and I, we woke up super early today.

We stayed up late on Friday night, didn’t go to sleep till around 2am.

We stayed up playing video games, such as WWE12, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Marvel VS Capcom 3.

We’re cool like that, so Saturday morning, we woke up at 8am without knowing it was that time, it felt like 12pm.

We had some good laughs and then we headed to Vince’s house and his step-dad took us, he’s super cool.

Vince’s step-dad dropped us at Manchester Theater and the guys and I headed to dollar tree to buy some snacks to sneak in the theater.

We ended up buying candy, life savor, gummy bears and jolly ranchers.

We watched Chronicles, the movie was really good but the ending was whack.

As we walked outside the theater, we saw one of our good friends with his girlfriend or his friend i think.

We walked towards Starbucks and i bought an ice coffee, Vince bought some coffee as well and Miguel decided not to buy coffee since he’s cool like that.

We headed to the arcade at Manchester Mall, we played variety of arcade games, such as Horror House, Tekken 5, and Dance Dance Revolution Super Nova.

As we were wasting money, we then headed to Panda Express to go grab something to eat, we got chow mien, Beijing beef, orange chicken and more.

Then Vince’s step-dad came and picked us up and headed back to my house.

All three of us had a blast and a great adventure, waking up early, going to the theater and playing arcade games are fun. Try it out with your friends and go out and have fun rather than staying home doing nothing and complaining your bored.

Lady Gaga's Event!

On March 27 to April 1st, I will be attending Lady Gaga’s event at Harvard University. To kick off the Born This Way Foundation.

Along with other youth throughout California, I’m super excited and looking forward with working along with the rest of the youth.

I’ve been working with the kNOw since 2009, and just two weeks ago i ranked up to be a youth content producer.

I’m greatly proud of myself and this event will prepare me and challenge me, which I’m thrill for and ready to be a youth leader.

This event will be one of my greatest accomplishments aside from other events such as Bus Forum, Kick kNOwledge, Art Hop, & the launch party for issue 8.

Lady Gaga will be present at this event and also, there’s a chance Oprah Winfrey will be there.

I’m going as a reporter and so are the rest of the youth throughout California, to write and record this event.

To see how we can impact the youth from all over the world. To embrace youth, empower them and change this world.

So I’m looking forward to this event, I will keep you guys updated on this event with status updates, pictures and videos :)
